FairForward joins forces with Eco Collection and tuyu.

FairForward will join forces with Eco Collection and tuyu. An unique new organization arises., focussing on fair trade interior and gift items. Most products will be available under private label aswell. The combined experience and expertise of the three organizations allows FairForward to offer customers interesting commercial opportunities in the field of sustainable and trendy home accessories & gifts.

FairForward is the successor of the non-food division of Fair Trade Original, one of the largest Fair Trade importers in Europe. As the founding father of the European fair trade movement in the sixties, the organisation now focuses on importing modern sustainable accessories. Eco Collection imports sustainable fair trade home accessories. Tuyu is specialized in custom-made accessories such as corporate gifts and private label. The new organization will be a certified member of the World Fair Trade Organization WFTO.

Stefan Nijsen, current director of Eco Collection, will lead FairFoward. In doing so he will follow up Mike Jansen, who is ending his active career at age 66. Nijsen: “The new organization will mainly focus on contemporary collections and private label, to better serve our customers. We are very ambitious and excited to research the possibilities for future growth”

Antoinette Gast, owner of tuyu, will focus on the curation of the collection, product development and sales. Gast: “To stand out in this growing market, it is important to collaborate with reliable partners.”
